The balcony was larger than expected and had the sun on it in the mornings. The apartment was very well equipped, brilliantly thought out to maximise space. Free WiFi very fast. Location in Ocean Village is great - bars & restaurants on your doorstep and walking distance to the airport too. Very quiet!

Hidden Gem at Luxurious Ocean Village is located in Gibraltar, just 1.4 miles from Santa Barbara Beach and 20 miles from La Duquesa Golf Club. Guests are welcome to go for a swim in the private pool. The host provided amazing communication, the accommodation was spotless and in a prime location overseeing the airport. Host provided great amenities within the accommodation such as tea, coffee, sugar and shower accessories. Balcony views were amazing and the balcony was spacious. Could not fault the apartment.

We wanted to visit Gibraltar but decided to stay in La Linea de la Concencion as it was easy to get there - and this was the best decision:). Very nice and cute town, much quiter, better food and with better value for money than in Gibraltar:)
we liked Gibraltar, although we could have been in a cornish or devon town. quirky place, everything shuts at 2pm on Saturday and most places shut on Sunday. going to the top of the rock was the highlight and we could have spent all day up there really. took a trip to spain, ( take your passport) just across the runway and had a nice stroll through the town of concepcion. A few days here is plenty, anymore and you'd run out of things to do. all pubs serve 'english food' fish and chips, sausage and mash, liver and bacon, etc etc but pop to Spain for something different
The place is to small iam six foot kept banging my head of the ceiling u nead to be small the whole place to small it's not worth the value the only view u have is locol people's flats no views what so ever value for money not a hope
The time was for our 30th anniversary, so we made the best of our limited time. The only thing we were not able to visit was the Jews Gate Cemetery because an approach was required from the East Side, since it was further down the Rock than the road maps showed. We appreciated everything about the experiences, and Joseph Matto of GibraltarTours.gi gave us a few unforgettable experiences, especially with the Barbary macaques.
We didn't explore the area on the Spanish side of the border but did have a great time in Gibraltar. If you do go to Gibraltar I would recommend doing on the taxi tours up the rock to all the sights and where the Apes are. Once you have done that you can walk back down into the town and explore that area too. It saves a lot of walking and the commentary is great to get some history and background of Gibraltar.
The climate suits us , not commercial . Be prepared to walk . Or use the local transport. Rock tours are rather expensive but a good experience to see the Apes , the view is well worth the trip up the rock . Eating out can be expensive.
