Great little cottage with much more room than expected, very clean and tidy, there was also a selection of board games to play, dvds and books to watch and read. There were also some menus for a couple of local takeaways and guide books with information about the village. It was a very nice little village and just a short drive in to Bury St Edmunds. We went to Suffolk to attend a family wedding and the cottage met our needs perfectly for the few of days we were there.

Beautiful cottage in secluded location, very clean and comfortable. Host was exceptionally helpful . Wish we had longer. Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a relaxing stay.

Located just 1 mile from Thetford Forest Park, the Bridge Hotel Brandon offers bed and breakfast accommodation, free WiFi and rowing boats for hire. The room was amazing value. Fully stocked with tea, coffee, biscuits, etc and fan plus hairdryer - most unusual, in my experience, and both greatly appreciated. Exceptionally clean and little touches - prettily folded towels, lovely quality shampoo, shower gel and liquid soap - just made the space feel 'finished'. Breakfast in the conservatory, feet away from the river, was such a relaxing way to start the day. Fantastic choice - fruit, cereal, full English, etc, beautifully cooked. The nicest thing, though, were the people I encountered, from other guests, kitchen staff, waitress, manager and owner. All so friendly, accommodating, and helpful. It was a lovely experience, from start to finish, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. It was absolutely perfect. Thank you to everyone for making my stay so special and for being so kind about my late arrival and rubbish sense of direction. Will definitely be back !
