Situated in a newly built house, it offers a fresh and modern environment. On-street parking is available directly in front of the property; however, it may require payment or prior arrangement with the host. These spaces are generally unoccupied, should you need them. The property has been recently painted, and all appliances are brand new. In fact, some cables were still wrapped when we arrived, requiring us to unwrap them to plug in and power the equipment. The area is exceptionally quiet, with little to no activity after 8:00 PM, ensuring a peaceful stay. Transport links are excellent, with a DLR station within close proximity and a bus stop even nearer. A convenience store is located just around the corner for quick purchases, although better prices can be found at other nearby shops. We had to use the washing machine during our stay, and even the host had not used it before, highlighting how new the appliances were. The room is spacious and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable visit. The host was extremely helpful, responding to our calls within approximately 10 minutes. He was friendly, professional, and eager to assist whenever needed. A television with a Netflix subscription was provided, which we barely used due to traveling with our young daughter, but such an amenity is a rare and welcome addition. The internet connection was outstanding—exceptionally fast and more than sufficient for any online activities. Overall, this accommodation provided a fantastic experience, combining comfort, convenience, and excellent hospitality.

Multikulti. Buntes Treiben. Täglich findet ein Markt statt. Die Leute mit denen man in Kontakt kam, waren sehr freundlich. Guter Ausgangspunkt, wenn man mit dem Auto angereist ist. Wir haben unseren Wagen kostenpflichtig bei einem Hotel geparkt und sind mit der Oyster Card in die Stadt gefahren. Hat super funktioniert. Negativ war, dass viel Müll in der Gegend rum liegt. Das ist aber nicht nur in Barking auffällig. Bei den Fahrten auf den Autobahnen und der Bahn haben wir davon leider sehr viel gesehen.
Woolwich klasse, sehr freundliche Menschen, sehr hilfsbereit Auswärtigen gegenüber. Gefühlt eine sehr sichere Gegend.
Da ich mit meinem Auto da war, war ich meistens mit dem Auto unterwegs und habe nur übernachtet. Bei einem spital in London gab‘s ein Parkhaus wo ich geparkt hab ( Guy‘s Hospital ) ist zwar ein wenig teuer aber gut
Kein so schönes Viertel. Es gab aber einen Park, in dem auch Kinder spielen können. Es gab alle Geschäfte des öffentlichen Lebens fußläufig.
Wir wollten am liebsten nach dem ersten Eindruck dort weg. Die Unterkunft hat gut zu dem Stadtteil Plumstead gepasst. Ich benutze ungern das Wort Ghetto aber das war die ganzen Tage mein Eindruck von der Gegend! Ist nichts für uns. Wir würden in Zukunft andere Stadtviertel wählen.
Barking ist ein Arbeiterviertel im Osten von London. Sehr günstig zu Erreichen von London City Airport ( ca. 10 Minuten Taxi). Barking U-Bahn ist gut verbunden mit direkter Züge nach London City und Westminster / Hammersmith. Ich habe mich immer Sicher und unbedrängt gefühlt. Die Leuten sind freundlich, offen und Hilfsbereit. Als Arbeiterviertel ist es keine Augenweide und ist weitgehend von Leuten mit indischer oder Karibischen Abstammung bewohnt aber es ist günstig und leicht zu erreichen. Es gibt (noch) traditionellen Pubs und jede Menge indische Restaurants.
