The Stables apresenta acomodações em Clyst Saint Mary, a 30 km de Hipódromo de Newton Abbot, 18 km de Castelo Powderham e 37 km de Castle Drogo. We stayed self catering the cottage was perfect for what we needed. Our hosts were lovely very friendly and none intrusive we will definitely book again next year when we have more information on the event we attended.

Kat welcomed me upon arrival with bonafide friendliness and showed me around the Lodge which has so much character and is so very cosy! The communal kitchen is perfectly outfitted with all you'd need to prepare almost any meal and is so very clean and easy to clean after use. Kat and I talked for a half and hour or so outside the Lodge shortly after I had settled in and it was easy to see that she genuinely engages in conversation with guests with interest. I saw Chris as I headed out on on a walk to get some groceries and although he was talking with someone else he called out a greeting to me and gave a big wave. There's a great welcome guide in the rooms with a history of the property, synopsis of the conservation efforts ongoing on the farm, information on local shops, etc. You will not be bothered by the hosts but if you have a question or just want to say hello, rest assured you can knock on their door and know you will be more than well received!
