This traditional hotel is just 4 miles from Coventry city centre. Located just off the A46, with great road links to the M6 and M40 motorways, it offers refurbished rooms and free parking. Location was great. Located in a charming and beautiful building with a nice patio.
We were looking for Dog Friendly accommodation, and The Three Horseshoes was perfect for this. The rooms were warm and comfortable. Tea and Coffee facilities provided (with fresh milk - an added bonus). The food (evening meals and breakfasts) were of a very high standard and delicious. All staff were very helpful and friendly, which added to an enjoyable stay. If we are ever in the area again, we will look no further than The Three Horseshoes. Thank you to all.
Hotel is of a much better standard than previously. Staff were very helpful as needed 2 pillows for bed, not just one. Food was of a good standard and restaurant staff were helpful, plus decent coffee machine now, might need 2 for busy times. Always nice to see the friendly face of Manish on reception. Look forward to our stay next year.
Normally in Travel Lodges, but if I have to be in the Midlands then I'll stay here again and travel the extra distances to my destinations. First class, and congratulations to everyone who made it so.
Lovely quite villiage, but plenty of attractions within a short drive. Also lovely garden centre within walking distance (serves a lovely breakfast) and The Old Mill (also within walking distance) where you can have a drink and meal.
A typical village pub that goes the extra mile in particular its food and friendly staff. Well managed and provide accomodation in ground floor rooms. Well worth the money with several nearby places of interest
Sadly, Coventry seems to be more like the Specials Ghost Town than a city of culture. Between the rail station, which looks like it promises wonderful things, and the bus station, which is a workaday terminus, there are so many empty commercial units, it's like walking thru a cemetery for shops.
