Belfast ist aktuell noch nicht überrannt von Touristen und es ist grad im Titanic-Quartier einiges am entstehen. Das Stadtzentrum selbst leidet noch immer ein bisschen aus der Zeit der "troubles". Äusserst empfehlenswert ist die Stadt für die Freunde von Street Art. Bei schönem Wetter unbedingt auf den Cave Hill gehen, um die Stadt von oben zu sehen.
Zugegeben, viel mehr als das Titanic Museum, die Markthalle und den historischen Turm am Hafen gibt es vermutlich nicht zu entdecken. Aber die Stadt hat Charme mit ihren vielen Pubs, den Graffittis und der Historie. In den beiden Shopping Malls konnten wir uns auch gut aufhalten, auch wenn es nicht besonders günstig war.
Belfast hat viel hat eben Geschichte und gibt den Reisenden in vieler Hinsicht die Möglichkeit sich einen Eindruck zu verschaffen. Die Menschen in Belfast waren ohne Ausnahme sehr freundlich und es kam schnell zu einer Kontaktaufnahmen

Eine abwechslungsreiche Stadt mit politischem und kulturellen Background - nicht weit weg vom Meer. Ein zuverlässiges Zug- und Bussystem ermöglicht es, alle Gegenden in Nordirland zu besuchen: Derry, Antrim, Castlerock, Whitehead, Bangor. Auch in der City funktionieren die Busse gut!
Sehr schöne und lebendige Stadt. Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und sehr schöne Pubs mit Livemusik. Toll zum Feiern. Sehr schönes und empfehlenswertes Titanicmuseum und auch noch andere Sehenswürdigkeiten. Viele sehr schöne und kunstvoll bemalte Wände.
