The look of the house from the outside is deceiving - inside it is modern, bright, and the rooms are wonderful. There are 2 full baths which was great for my friend and me as we could both spread out. The location was very good - would have preferred a detached cottage with some land around it but that being said we were close to groceries, post office, petrol, gin distillery, gift shop, and the beautiful baech was a quick drive and hike away.

The cottage was comfy and cosy, with everything we needed. The central location was perfect for exploring all over the Uists. The beds were comfortable, the shower was fantastic and the log fire was very welcome after a breezy day out on the islands. The hosts were so welcoming and the home cooked scones were a lovely, generous touch that made us feel even more at home. We would definitely stay again.
