This modern guest house is in central Torrejón de Ardoz, 10 minutes’ drive from Barajas Airport and IFEMA Conference Centre. Free WiFi is available. The staff went out of their way to help me, I had come off a 30 hour trip from New Zealand, and had not slept on the flight. I was very exhausted, but the staff made everything easy, and helped me with advice about my onward travel, a charger for my iPad I’d forgotten to pack, and a friendly chat.

Travelodge Alcalá de Henares is a modern and functional 3-star hotel with 108 comfortable and well-equipped rooms. We were welcomed warmly with a friendly greeting and directed to the room which was perfect for our stay. We look forward to visiting there again next time

Zouk Hotel is located on the A-2 Motorway in Alcalá de Henares. This stylish hotel offers discreet service and air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV and an MP3 player. We liked the hotel concept. Very clean and discrete. We just used it as a stop on our way to MAD, but we were pleasantly surperised and enjoyed the facilities.

Hostal La Carretera is located in central Torrejón, 20 minutes’ drive from Madrid Barajas Airport and within 2 km of the A2 Motorway. It features a restaurant, terrace and free Wi-Fi. It was next to the bus stop to the airport, and the room was amazing, I would 100% recommend it!

Hotel Villa de Ajalvir is a 30-minute drive from the centre of Madrid and has a restaurant with a terrace. It features air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi access. The property is out of Madrid Centre however very convenient for a short stay. Staff were amazingly helpful and nice.
