This Niagara-on-the-Lake hotel is a 12-minute drive of Niagara Falls. The hotel offers an indoor swimming pool, on-site restaurant and free Wi-Fi. Great stay, so close to Niagara Falls, Outlet shopping mall, and a very quiet location. Staff were very efficient in their checking us in and explaining the property facilities to us, bar staff were very friendly too. There was a small problem with the billing of the room which was charged twice, but this was rectified very quickly by reception staff member without me having to follow up.

Located in downtown St. Catharines, this non-smoking hotel features a fitness centre, complimentary parking and rooms with free Wi-Fi. I liked the fact that you couldn’t hear any noises although it’s directly next to the Highway. Totally impressive!

We stayed with two other couples. We were greeted promptly, shown the grounds and our rooms. There are multiple spots to sit and talk, have a drink or just nap. Each morning Trish prepares a gourmet multicourse breakfast and takes care to match the experience to the dining requirements for each guest. Green Oaks is about a 10 minute drive through wine country to old town and 10 minutes to the Falls. A wonderful experience from the moment we arrived to when we sadly departed.

More importantly it was so nice and cool from that summer heat outside! The bug zapper was a nice added touch to keep the creepy crawlies from getting too comfortable. Location is within walking distance of downtown and festivities happening at Montebello Park. Definitely recommend booking this cozy lil get away!
