Very clean, comfortable and safe motel. Loved the comfortable high quality beds and pillows, as well as the hot high volume showers. We were always met by helpful and cheerful staff / owners who were happy to assist. They loaned us a fan, kettle, and gave great advice about where to swim. This hotel is a great place to stay to explore the Powell River area. Highly recommend staying here!

The owner was very hospitable and gave us a detailed introduction to the surrounding attractions and food. The location is close to the sea, surrounded by sea views, restaurants, and some historical buildings, the bed in the room is quite comfortable and we had a deep sleep.

The view from the room and the restaurant are amazing: right over the ocean. I think this was the hotel where we actually spend more time in the hotel than elsewhere on our trip, since it great location on the ocean, the great food in the restaurant and the very friendly and helpful staff. They even helped getting enough loonies for the washing machine and dryer. Breakfast was included which we didn't expect so that was a nice surprise too.

We had the little cottage to ourselves, surrounded by natural wild gardens. Chickens, geese and rabbits on the property (no roosters). The hostess are very nice. The wife is a painter and the husband is a glass artist. The walls of the cottage are decorated with their wonderful art. Away from the town of Powell River, but close enough for convenience.
