Lismore Gateway Motel has recently undergone a comprehensive renovation, enhancing the entire property, including guest rooms, lush tropical gardens, and the relaxing pool area. The service was excellent on arrival. The room was modern and clean and quiet. Outside the rain had started to fall extremely heavily (day before the flood). They kept us up to date with what was happening outside and within the town. The breakfast menu was lovely, fresh and on time to our room along with great barista made coffees. After we had checked out, we received a text message with another update to evacuate the motel and area. Their priority was our safety. We fared well, but unsure how they have gone.

Located in the heart of Lismore, City Motor Inn Lismore features an outdoor swimming pool, a restaurant and a barbecue area with outdoor seating. The staff here are incredibly friendly. The manager, Ross, is a lovely man, and awesome to chat with. The rooms are comfortable, the pool is fun, and the location is ideal - a short walk to the main strip of shops in Lismore. I highly recommend you staying here!
