I loved my stay at the Bairnsdale Main Motel - a classic, old-school "mom and pop" style motel, which I just love! I had the pleasure of meeting with and talking with the fantastic host, a really good man with a heart of gold. The room was cosy, quiet, clean and very comfortable, and I slept really well there. It had everything I needed for a self-catered stay, and I particularly appreciated the microwave in the shared area. I highly recommend a visit to nearby Raymond Island for koala-spotting if one is in the area for tourism. I would have liked to have stayed longer.

Offering ground floor units Colonial Motor Inn Bairnsdale Golden Chain Property is centrally located. The room was very clean and fresh. The shower has great water pressure and hot water. The kitchenet has all you need. The lounge was comfy to watch tv and the bed comfortable. This is our second stay here and we will use again.

The Home Sweet Home, a property with a garden, is situated in Bairnsdale, 18 km from Slip Bight Marina, 31 km from Metung Yacht Club Marina, as well as 37 km from Lakes Entrance Marina. We loved the location, we stayed in this town because we had a wedding in Granite Rock and it is very close to pubs, restaurants, supermarkets, everything within walking distance, we really liked the neighborhood because it was very quiet and without noise, we slept really well. The quality of the beds and the pillows as well as the sheets, was excellent. We love having coffee in the morning, thank you for that, it was a nice detail on your part.

Friendly owners, large room which was very clean and well appointed with the kitchenette etc. Handy location for exploring the Gippsland lakes at a really reasonable price.
